It was a long weekend last week and my sister and I decided to go on a quick trip. It was last minute and we packed a small carry-on for the two of us and headed to Jeonju, Korea. The bus ride there took almost 3 hours, which wasn’t too bad since I slept for basically the entire ride. When we arrived, we immediately left the bus station and went to the Jeonju Hanok Village. It wasn’t really smart of us to go that day because it was insanely packed. It honestly felt like everyone who lived in that city came to visit the village that day. Despite the fact there were so many people and that it was really hot, I’d say that overall it was a successful trip with great memories made.
It was so nice to get away from the really busy city that Seoul is. Even though it was for a day and a half, driving through the mountains and not be in a place without so many tall buildings and clean air was so nice. Hopefully I get to have another trip like this before the summer break ends.
