Welcome to the last post of my Tokyo travel! We started this day off early because we had to pack up our things at the airbnb to switch to a hotel in Nezu. Before we went to our hotel, we decided to stop by the Tokyo Tower to finally see the tower up close. Unfortunately it started raining right after we took pictures (at least it didn’t rain when we were taking the pictures) so we couldn’t stay too long because we had our luggage and didn’t have an umbrella. After that we took the subway with our big luggage and ventured to Nezu. The hotel that we stayed at is called Hotel Graphy. Even though it isn’t in the central area of Tokyo, I highly highly recommend this hotel. The facility was really clean and the workers were all nice. Plus, they gave a free drink after 5PM.

After taking a quick nap, we went to Ueno park. The moment I went to the park there was a massive crowd of people playing Pokemon GO. First of all, I downloaded Pokemon GO as soon as I landed in Japan because there isn’t a server in Seoul and you can’t catch them anywhere in Korea. I spent a good chunk of the trip walking around catching pokemons with my sister and going to a park was way different than playing it in the city. There were so many people and so many to catch. After spending a good chunk of time walking around with my head down on my phone, we left the park.
Next stop was Asakusa. Initially we wanted to wear kimonos and yukata but because it was so hot and humid we decided to just walk around in our regular clothes. There wasn’t that much to see other than places and little shops for touristy things. We mainly just had dinner (ramen) and left. After that we went to Akihabara, where I spent money trying to win stuffed animals and getting real frustrated over it. We had to wake up early to leave for the airport the next day so we decided to call it a night from there and went to our hotel and enjoyed the nice view from the rooftop and ended our trip. The trip went by much faster than I thought it would and I feel like I didn’t get to see all of Tokyo. Hopefully I’ll be able to come back in the future at a time when it’s not so hot and stay for a longer period.
