White on White

During the summer my outfits tend to consist mainly of two colours. White and blue (denim). When you look into my closet, you’d be able to immediately notice that the ratio to the number of white tops I have to the other colours is significantly greater. I’m not entirely sure as to why this is the case, but there’s just something about a simple white top and good denim in the summer that works perfectly for the warm summer days.

The top that I’m wearing in this post used to be my mom’s (no surprise here). I seriously love the linen material of the top, which makes it really appropriate for the hot and humid days. However, the neckline of the top is a little awkward, where it’s either you button it all the way up or you leave it open. Although I do like to wear tops with high necklines there was still something awkward about the top. Which is why I decided to leave it open and layer it on top of another white tee. The pair of citizens I have is a recent purchase I made. It’s my first pair of jeans of its price range and the quality of them are amazing. I don’t have a pair of jeans of this wash or the rips so it made sense for me to grab these ones than the standard black skinnies. The length of the jeans are super flattering, where it’s not too short nor too long and you can pair them with all sorts of shoes for both a casual and dressier look. I feel with a pair like these, you can wear a simple t-shirt on top and still look put together & good.
